Last year William Buck participated in the very popular Mr Movember (Prostate Cancer) event, the World's Greatest Shave (Leukaemia), The Foxtel lap and The Smith Family Christmas gift giving program as well as a number of co-ordinated volunteer days.

 

Sports

There are numerous opportunities to get involved at William Buck and develop your prowess in the sporting arena. Some of our more athletic, and the not so athletic, staff members compete in corporate sporting events including the BRW Corporate Triathlon, Corporate Games and the ICAA sports carnivals.

 

For the less competitively inclined there's always a choice of community and office based sports teams including, touch football, tennis, soccer, basketball and netball. And for those who want to get involved without raising a sweat there's our National Tipping Competition (AFL and NRL).

 

Social clubs

Our active social clubs organise many events throughout the year, from formal functions such as End of Year Gala and Financial Year wrap up Cocktail party, to casual BBQs, pool competitions and monthly staff drinks.

 

We promote a cohesive and supportive team culture both within and across our business divisions. To help divisional teams get to know each other regular 'team days out' are organised. Last year’s activities included professional cooking and golf lessons, sailing days, a day at the races, barefoot bowls, go-karting and digital photography classes.
